This next one is my favorite!!!

Matthew and his mommy…. (I want a picture of me and Brandon like this. Warning Bob it is gonna be picture time again soon)

Matthew is Brandon’s friend. Isn’t he so darn cute. He is in our story time group at the library. He is such a smart little boy, I think it is because he hangs out with the older kids. Brandon and most of the others in our group are getting ready to turn four. Thanks Matthew for doing such a good job for me!

Homecoming Queen!

Kaylee has been in the studio before, umm actually I think I have taken her pictures several times. She is the most photographed senior ever. Ray and her mom keep buying her sessions. This last one was so we could get all her cheerleading stuff done. Oh and Ariel tagged along and we got some Best Friend photos.
I actually had to say… “Girls- NO more pictures!” They kept coming up with funny ideas. I have so many photos I could post on here of the two of them, but I think the animation was a good idea so I just went with that.
Thanks girls for such a fun time!!!!

Remember these little babies….
Here is what they look like now…

Katie would smile all day for me but the little ones, well I think maybe I scared them or something. LOL Actually I didn’t say much to them, I let grandma talk to them behind me. They wouldn’t be able to handle my normal craziness and I knew that. They are use to hanging out at home because they don’t get out much. Their mommy can’t wait until winter is over so they can get out of the house more.

Gabi had 31 points despite South Central’s tough defense.

I just love these girls….

The Lady Cats beat South Central Tues. night at home during senior night. I really feel bad for SC because I think they really are a good team but it was senior night and the crowd was huge and it has to be hard to be in the Bobcat Den and face our girls when they are pumped up more then usual.
See everyone at sectional! GO LADY CATS!

Here are some of the shots I took on Saturday of the kids that will be in my Kid Quote book. Once again these aren’t necessarily the images that will be in the book. I will find the best question/answer for each kid then match up the photo that looks best.

Here are some of the shots I took on Friday of the kids that will be in my Kid Quote book. These aren’t necessarily the images that will be in the book, actually I know for sure half of them won’t be.

Everyone’s pics will be in the storefront later today. www.photographybyjayme.com/store

First off, I had a wonderful time Friday and Saturday taking all the kid’s pictures for the kid quote book. They all did amazing. Oh and I have read thru some of the kid’s responses to my questions and they are too funny. This is going to be an AWESOME book.
Before I post pictures from this weekend I want to share some thoughts. The reason I decided to do the book was to A. do a fun project with my own kids and B. raise money for Maggie and bring awareness to childhood cancer
Well some things happened that I didn’t expect. I got to see some friends I went to high school with. I even had one girlfriend drive two hours to bring her son to the shoot. (thanks again Angie) I got to meet my friend Melissa’s super cute soccer loving boy and chat with her about life after high school. I seen some other mom’s that I hadn’t seen in awhile or just hadn’t had time to chat with them on other occasions.
I was told by several moms that it was nice to spend “special” time with a certain child, oh and I had grandma’s come with and the kids will be blessed to have that memory with them.
And another thing that I didn’t expect was how smart kids really are. Devan’s mom asked me how Maggie was doing and said Devan talks about her all the time and how they pray for her at school. He knew that she was going to Riley they other day and that she was having tests done. I had several other kids that told their parents they wanted to take part in the project because they wanted to help Maggie.
I had a mom tell me how one day she was having a “rough” day and then she thought of Rachel (Maggie’s mom) and then realized that her problems weren’t all that bad.
Another thing this book has already done is showed Samantha that we need to do things for other people. She over hears me talking all the time when I don’t realize it I have figured that out. The other day she said she wanted to start a “Fun School” for little kids. She said she was going to charge $2 a kid and then she was going to give Maggie the money. (Isn’t that cute) That is stuff we can’t just tell our kids to do, we can’t just tell them to be nice to others, we can’t tell them how important it is to think of other people. We have to show them!
Okay, I know you guys are going nuts waiting to see pictures so I will get this published here on the blog and get to making the blog post with the kid’s pictures in it. I will split it up into 2 posts so don’t freak out if your kid’s picture isn’t on right away.
****Also it isn’t too late to participate in the book. You do have to schedule a regular session very soon though, I would really like to have all the pictures taken in the next few weeks.
Oh and one shot that my friend Sara took of me showing Madison how to pose…

Friday when my friend Tish was leaving the studio she told me I had to take a picture of the moon, so I did. I thought it would be neat for my kids and figured I would throw the photo on here in case anyone else wanted to show their kids.

My niece plays basketball at Oregon-Davis. (part of the reason I am Lady Cat basketball crazy) She ran over to the studio today while I had a break in my shooting for the book and I snapped a few of her in her basketball jersey. My mother-in-law is dying to see these so I hurried and got them edited for her. Here you go Ann…

Josh was a trooper and was willing to go outside and I think it was like 15 degrees out. We didn’t shoot much out there because I was being wimpy that day, plus his nose was going to start getting red. Then he had to face a really out studio because I had the heat turned up because I had a newborn session right after his.
Josh did a good job at laughing at my jokes, or maybe we was just laughing at me, hmmm oh well doesn’t matter he gave me good smiles that is all that counts. Thanks Josh!

Piper is a big sister!!! Paige and Piper’s mommy is my photographer friend Nichole. (Lady Cats she is the one that went to the boxing ring with us and helped out) She needed me to take their family picture but of course since they were at the studio we did some of just Paige.
Paige wasn’t really in the mood for pictures that evening so we ended up hanging out in the house and chatting. Of course once she got in the house and we weren’t taking pictures she was sound asleep. I guess we wore her out.
I am bummed that I didn’t think to get any pictures of Brandon and Piper playing together. They were so cute. Imagine the craziness if two photographer’s kids got married. How many cameras would be at that wedding.
