I ended up with 3 mosquito bites trying to get this picture….

Still can’t believe we managed to get this photo. Luckily Megan has nice horses, most people couldn’t do something like this.

It got alittle bit too dark on us, we kinda goofed off alittle too much. I still have one shot I need to get but I will get that next week when Megan comes to Courtney’s senior session. Speaking of Courtney….

Ever heard the song ”Too Much Fun” by Daryle Singletary. Yeah well Courtney had too much fun the other night. She got dressed up in some of my kid props.

She tried to leave the studio with my stuff but I wouldn’t let her. She was a good reflector holder.

Thanks girls (well and Jim too) for the fun evening. I can’t wait until Courtney’s so we can have round 2 of “too much fun!”

It was super windy and HOT the other day when we took Mariah’s senior pictures. She was a trooper though, she didn’t complain a bit. Have a great senior year Mariah, I hope it is a cool fall for you guys and girls at the academy.

Barbara has been a facebook stalker for some time and she even brought her older grandkids to the Easter shoot I had in Culver, Indiana. Well the other day her grandkids from California were in town so she made the drive from Mexico, IN for me to take pictures of them all. I was worried since there were 4 kids under the age of like Nine, but they did great. Actually the one that we were most worried about gave me some of the best shots….

Love this shot…

This makes me smile :)

I told the kids if they were good for me I would do something fun with them at the end of the session. Plus I knew they had drove a long way to the studio so I wanted it to be a super fun experience for them. So we got out the photo booth props…

Barbara’s new facebook profile picture needs to be this shot…

Thanks again sooo much Barbara for making the long drive. I hope you had fun and love the pictures.

Andrew got his grandparents a gift certificate for a photo session. That has to be the best gift ever if I say so myself. He got pictures taken with his grandparents and parents…

and then just him and his parents…

And then we did lots of fun pictures of just Andrew..

Andrew likes to play catch with his dad so we got some baseball pictures…

And my favorite picture of the day… Him and his daddy playing catch…

Big thanks to Andrew for always being such a good boy when he comes to the studio. And to his mommy and daddy for always bringing him!! :)

Miley can’t wait for the new baby to arrive….

I had to bribe someone with a flower. Sometimes I wish I was a kid again and someone would bribe me to work. I like Fanny May mint melt aways. :)

Remember that cute little Allison that was just on the blog? Over 4th of July weekend I went to her grandparents house and took some pictures of her family. There were family members from all over the place, even Canada.
The sad part was poor little Allison didn’t feel good, but she was a trooper, here she is layin’ around waiting for pictures…

Here is one of the Canadian Super Models… ( I love this shot!!!)

The entire group….

At the end of picture time, Al (Allison’s father) got dressed up for us….

Then some of the other adults got into the act…

And then they dressed up the dog…

Then the kids got all dressed up too…

Only posted a couple pictures because there were so many different groups and my luck I will leave someone out. At the end we just did a quick shot of everyone that was at the family gathering.

Here is Dixie and her hubby. Dixie use to work at the nursing home where my great grandfather Jernas was at. She said he was a sweetie.

It was crazy hot that day. I am thinking 90ish. But these girls didn’t let the heat bother them they had a good time enjoying the 4th of July weekend and their families…

Had a blast hanging out with Elisabeth and her mom. Here are a few of her senior pictures….

these last 3 are my faves…

It was got dark fast Wednesday night, so at the end of the session I had to find some light from other sources.

Proud of this next shot, it was so dark my camera could barely focus, I am so bummed that I had taken my little flash light out of my bag when we had no power.

I also have some sports shots we took in the studio. I am gonna make a cool collage but don’t have the time today. I will get that done and posted early next week.
Thanks Elisabeth for doing so well, and to Judy for always having the comb ready!! :)

Kyle just graduated from Knox High School and his mom mentioned that she wanted family pictures when her husband was back in the country. I am so glad she called and got them done. It is important to have family pictures taken when kids are older and not just when they are toddlers. And if you don’t go to a professional photographer at least hand your point and shoot over to someone and get one taken.(done with my public service announcement)

Kyle…

Lauren…

Have a wonderful summer and enjoy time together!!!
