Happy Birthday Samantha!
Tuesday, February 26th, 2008DORA!
Monday, February 25th, 2008Dora was at the Starke County Library in Knox. Seemed like every kid in the county was there. Of course my kids didn’t want to go get a picture with Dora. (they are chicken and scared of everything- Bob blames this on me because I baby them) Anyways here are some photos I took. The one is from the top floor of the library looking down and keep in mind there were a ton of people in the kid’s section also, so you can’t see them all in that photo. The rest are of my niece with Dora and some of my friends that waited in line with me for about 30 minutes. (no joke) At least there kids went by Dora.

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008OD boys beat LaVille 60-59 in an excitting game
Thursday, February 21st, 2008First of all, I want to say congrats to I believe it was the 5th grade boys team for winning their tourney. Jacob, my nephew is on the team, although not pictured because he was sick Tues. Anyways during half time of the JV and Var game the elem boys did alittle scrimmaging and they were amazing. A player that stood out big time was my buddy Mason Awald. Below is a shot of him dribbling up the floor.
Okay, now to the bigger boys. The Varsity game was awesome. It was a close game all the way. Really I think that the two seniors refused to lose their last home game and luckily #22 Hofferth didn’t want it to happen either. Honestly all played really well. Here are just a few of my faves. The Starke Co. Newshawk should have a few photos in this weeks paper as well since I stayed up past 10:00 getting them to him (hey that’s late for me).
wanna see more photos….. http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/store.aspx?p=47976

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008What a trooper!!! I have photographed alot of people when it is either rainy, cold, or windy, but it was all three. Pretty much it wasn’t fit to be out while we were shooting. Oh and I made her walk thru a ton of water, (notice bottom of pants in the one barn shot). Thanks for being so easy to work with and I hope the rest of your senior year goes well.

Monday, February 18th, 2008Beware, a ton of photos in this post. Sara (the mom of the two cuties) is one of my blog stalkers so I am treating her with a ton of preview pictures. Give me a couple days and I will post a link to where I will put all proofs online for everyone to see. (PS Sara probably went home and took a nap after the session because Cole totally wore her out, he was ALL over the place, which is how she stays so skinny.)
Hey everyone, I put on a new feature to my blog these last couple posts so when you click on thumnails it brings up an overlay instead of a seperate page, tell me if it is working okay and if you like that better. (just leave in comments- thanks)
Road Closed!
Thursday, February 14th, 2008At about 2am the kids and I were awaken by police sirens. Then several firemen were in our yard loading up a boat. It was obvious someone had tried to drive down the flooded section of Range Road that is less then a mile past my house. Hamlet, Knox and Bass Lake fire departments responded. As you can see from the photos it was a dangerous situation for everyone involved. The tempature outside was about 15 degrees. In total the men that responded were on the scene for about an hour, although they had the driver out early in the rescue.
