Thursday I went to Ancilla College to take headshots of the nursing students that are about to graduated.  This is my second year doing this and the staff is awesome to work with and the students are always so much fun.  I had taken several student’s pictures and there was alittle break in the action until these five walked in (pictured below).  They totally made my day because they said they were so glad I was the photographer.  They wanted a special group and asked if I would take it for them.  Well of course I am going to, I am always up for something different and fun.  I want to tell everyone Ancilla’s nursing 2008 graduating class hi and good luck with all your final tests.  Once I get the composite done I will post on here for you to see also.

*** Have to add this.  I was talking to my friend Jennifer on the phone and she was looking at the blog and thought that the it was a real person in the bed with the nursing students.  It is George the dummy that the students practice on.  LOL

Dr. Alexander

This morning I got to meet Dr. Alexander for the first time.  She is a very nice lady, we talked for several minutes after she was done getting her picture taken.  She is a family practice physician in Knox.

For those of you that don’t know.  Last week we went to Disney World.  My mom also came with my family and I am so glad she did.  We never went as kids (my dad is a poop!  LOL)  Anyways, we flew and the kids did great, mom not so good, but she made it…

Brandon slept most of the flight there.

The first night we went to Downtown Disney.  There was a Mr. Potato head shop and I made a digital one that looks like me and Samantha made a firefighter one for her daddy.

There it is the famous castle…

Jungle Cruise…

We went to Animal Kingdom and did the safari ride, it was cool.

At Hollywood Disney we had a blast playing at Honey I shrunk the Kids.

I got to have my 15 seconds of fame.  They asked for volunteer’s and my mom said I would do it.  (well I am kinda’ a ham so of course I was willing)  It was pretty easy, all I had to do was act like I was cleaning the boat and then point and then act scared.  Well I didn’t have to act scared, I was scared because a ton of water was getting ready to splash down on me and I was scared I was going to be soaked.

As you can see we had a blast, and can’t wait to go back.  If you haven’t seen enough photos from our trip check out the slide show…

(warning I may take a few mins to load if you have slower connection, I should of editted out more photos I didn’t realize I added so many to the slideshow.  oh well)

One last picture of all of us that some random guy took.  Thanks random guy!

That is what Uncle Jim and cousin Jen did to raise money for the Special Olympics. Our family raised about $750. (most came from Uncle Dave who started all this by telling Uncle Jim he would donated $500 to the cause but only if Uncle Jim jumped in). Anyways, we traveled to Manteno, IL to see the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Bear Plunge. It was awesome. Many of the jumpers dressed up. And everyone had a blast. Uncle Jim sported a very fashionable hat. The event raised about $50,000. Here are some pictures I took…..
