You are the only one who can make me cry with a picture. I'm so glad you caught this moment in history. We were at the community center honoring Ted, and if it had been anything else, I would have been there with the crowd going wild! :) What a fantastic night. We were all dressed up (which is odd for radio folk...lol) and my phone was on vibrate in the middle of our table, waiting for word from Terry on Aubrey's 3-point status. We got the word and I had the pleasure of passing the word around to everyone who would listen to me (including yelling across the room to Harold...like I said, we radio people don't get out much). As someone who gets to see most games with my mind's eye due to engineering responsibilities, I'm so sooo glad you were there to capture it. I'm headed to the storefront now to see the rest of them. :) Have to see Terry getting soaked!

All I can say is AWESOME!! It's really been fun watching this young lady over the years develop into such an outstanding player. I can still remember (it's been a number of years ago when Jayme played basketball-ha), Aubrey hanging out shooting around when the girls were practicing. What an honor, and what an accomplishment. It goes to show that practice and dedication do pay off.
Dean, you may want to let Jayme know not to give up her day job. (haha). You do such an awesome job. I wasn't able to be at the game because of a Chamber of Commerce event here in Knox, our own Ted Hayes from WKVI was getting an award. Jayme said that of course Fox 28 was there to capture Aubrey making her record breaking shot. The community thanks you for making that trip down from South Bend with your TV crew to capture that moment in time. Kuddos to you and your crew, you do a wonderful job. I enjoy watching you.
Jayme, I hope I can talk Sami into playing basketball and that someday you'll be taking pictures of her on the court.

Awesome pics Jayme!!!! Video, if done right can capture an event, but there is nothing like the quality of still photos like you shot. Capturing that one moment in time is amazing. And when you look at Aubrey tieing the record and then breaking the record, it's no wonder she is such an incredible shooter. The pics are almost identical with the fans and the defense a little different, but her shot is the same. It's almost like one of those video picture games where you look for what is different in this picture. Her feet, the release point, her mouth, and especially the eyes....It's all picture perfect, pardon the pun.

People have no idea how dedicated you were to get those shots. For 2 straight games I saw you clicking on every release, putting yourself in position for that perfect moment. A great lesson can be learned from that dedication. You were persistent, professional, diligent and most of all, you had the passion in your heart to capture the moment. The picture of Aubrey in front of the girls with #33 History is a classic. I'm sorry I missed it while I was doing the interviews.

Aubrey is a special player, as are many of the girls in the Oregon-Davis program. They take the game seriously and play with heart. A lot of kids play the game, but few understand it. There are thousands of girls who put on a uniform in Indiana, but not all of them respect it. The OD kids get it, and I'm sure you would agree with me, it's easy to dedicate your valuable time to something as worthwhile as that. Keep up the great work and if we're lucky, we'll be able to get the final record breaking shot this year at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Jayme, I want to thank you so much for ALL you do for our girls. The Oregon Davis community is blessed to have such a talent as yourself. And to our community, thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. One of the first things Aubrey said was that this record wasn't accomplished on her own. She has had her teammates, her coaches, and her community behind her. Terry and I second that.
