Indiana Senior Pictures: Amy Jo from Knox HS

Here is a photo for all you Twilight fans… (my fave)baldwin-march2009_44t

Amy was one of the 2009 Starke County Super Seniors.   She was  such a trooper when taking the Twilight shot.  We wanted something “dark” and different.  The location wasn’t the cleanest (was it Amy) but she sat there and was patient as I set up my flash.  By the way I used a piece of black paper Samantha had in the car as a snoot and used my trusty duck tape to attach it to my flash.  Remember duck tap can get you out of  just about any jam.

Oh just one more twilight shot.  I think this is kinda a cool angle, but I sometimes like different things then everyone else does…baldwin-march2009_45

Indiana Senior Pictures: Matt from Knox HS

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Thursday was such an awesome day.  I had three seniors that were so nice to work with Matt included.  I was alittle worried about him not wanting to do much because his mom mentioned he wasn’t that into getting his picture taken but honestly he didn’t show any signs of it.  I think he was just trying to be nice to me.   Thanks Matt I appreciate it.  Good luck at Valpo!!!

Indiana Senior Pictures: Miranda from John Glenn HS

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Finally I got a really nice day; no wind, no snow, no rain, and it was even nice and warm, oh and I can’t forget the sun was out most of the day too.  I think it was a perfect day just for Miranda.  Oh and for her little brother Noah that tagged along.  That kid cracked me up.  In the hour that they were at the studio I think he asked me 100 questions, became best friends with my daughter, and got his picture taken a few times too.  He was a trip.  Noah, make sure you come to me for your senior pictures (about 12 years or so from now).

Indiana Photography: Peyton Mae 3 months old

ferchmarch2009_07I can shoot seniors 24/7 but it was nice to have this little sweetheart in the studio in the middle of a busy week of senior shoots.  I was excitted to meet Miss Peyton Mae because I heard alot about her from her Aunt Emily (who happens to be a blog stalker and one of my facebook buddies).  I even grabbed a shot of Peyton with her Aunt Emily. (it will be on facebook tomorrow sometime)

Thanks Brandon, Heather, Emily, Becky and Peyton for such a fun shoot.  (Emily-too bad we were so sweaty and tired or we could of took some funny shots of ourselves with Peyton’s props.  Next time!!)

Indiana Senior Pictures: Rebecca from Plymouth HS

Friday, March 27th, 2009

First of all, huge thanks to her buddy Paschina for telling her how much fun I am.  LOL  Rebecca is a sweetheart and super smart.  I want to tell her congrats on winning the Indiana State Speech Tournament on Saturday and the James Hawken Mental Attitude Award.  Here is Rebecca with her trophy and plaque… (I love when kids in our area do so good at the state level)

Senior Pictures: Karly from Oregon-Davis

Thanks Karly for a wonderful time.  Such a bummer it was cold and windy.  (figures)  We still got some rockin’ shots.  I think the close up of you and your doggie is my fave.  I know how much you love that little squirt. (I can’t wait until your mom sees our top secret part of the shoot)  I will post the rest in the storefront soon.

Grover and Ann’s small family (LOL)

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

This next photo is Grover and Ann with just their kids.  Bob is the baby of the family.bloggoetzmarch2009_043edit

My mother-in-law has wanted these pictures for the last couple years.  I am so glad we finally made it happen for her.  All us kids are done having children so she has a photo with all her kids and grandkids and she even has two great-grandkids in there.   As you can see Bob has a rather large family.  This is just his siblings and their families.

Huge thanks to Gwen for running over to take our group shot for us.  (kinda hard for me to do when I need to be in it myself).

I will have the rest in a gallery hopefully tomorrow, I won’t have final edits done but you will be able to see them all.

Senior Pictures: Amy from John Glenn High School

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

When I first met Amy I stopped, looked into her eyes and said, “Is that really your eye color or do you have colored contacts in?”  She said, “It’s really my eye color..”  Aren’t they so pretty!!!  My husband has the prettiest blue eyes ever but I would have to say Amy comes in a close second.

I am telling you guys, I can’t get any luck on the weather.  Every time I have a shoot it is either raining, teeth-chattering-freezing cold or it is super windy.  Yesterday was so windy and I was so bummed, but we worked it out and just stayed behind buildings and just made it happen.  Oh well, such is life.

Thanks Amy for a such a wonderful time.  You are a ray of sunshine that is for sure.  You have such a wonderful smile.  You are also very lucky to have an awesome family.  I just love your grandma, and you take after her in so many ways.  Give her extra hugs next time you see her (grandma’s like that).

PS  HUGE thanks to my best buddy Kelsi for raving about me to Amy.  Send me some more fabulous John Glenn girls!!!

PSS I clicked on the wrong button and the images were sized alittle bigger then usual, oh well, too busy to go back and redo it so they will just stay extra big.  I kinda like it that way anyways.    I fixed it!!  Back to normal size

Culver, Indiana: Bunnies, Bunnies Everywhere

We had so much fun Saturday at Elizabeth’s Garden in Culver.  If you haven’t been to her shop go and check it out, she has so many cute things there.   I want to say huge thanks to Liz for hosting the event and for being a bunny wrangler for most of the day (the hardest job).  Also I want to tell Marlene from  The Memory Zone Scrapbook Store in Plymouth thanks.  Marlene seen on facebook that I was doing the bunny shoot and added the info to their weekly newsletter.  One of her readers came all the way from Mexico, IN.  You can sign up to the newsletter on their site.

Here are just a few of the shots from the shoot.  I will also post some on facebook of the kids I know their parents are on there.   Make sure you become a fan to hear about other upcoming events… FACEBOOK ROCKS! (Photography by Jayme on Facebook)bunny1-000001

Michigan City, Indiana: Yocasta’s Birthday Celebration at the Blue Chip

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

The birthday party was a surprise.  Here is my view when Yocasta entered the room…yocastamarch2009_035

and here is Jim’s view…yocastamarch2009_097

The evening was perfect.  Rose (Yocasta’s daughter) did an awesome job planning a fun-filled evening.  She had a band, magician, tarot card reader and a room packed full of  family and friends.   She also traveled to the Dominican Republic where Yocasta is originally from and recorded greetings from family and friends and put together an awesome video that made everyone laugh and cry.   Huge thanks to Mandy for telling Rose to call me.  I really enjoyed myself and left there feeling like a part of the family.

I gotta include this picture… Jim took it of me when we were getting his setting on his camera and I really like it, I am a big ham but don’t usually take that good of a picture.  Thanks Jim for helping out and also for grabbing this shot.  I wanted to get a picture in front of the blue chip building but it was raining so that didn’t happen, oh well.
