I felt like I was shooting a friends pictures last night.  Alex has the best personality.  I honestly had to stop a couple times because I was laughing so hard and I was afraid I would have camera shake.  The next time I hear the chicken dance I will think of you and your mom. (dang it now I have that darn song in my head, maybe I will have to do the chicken dance with Brandon later on, I bet he would enjoy that)

Monday and Tuesday I spent time in Indy at the Omni Hotel hanging out with some amazing people.  Sat and listened to some awesome speakers from all over the country and also did some shooting.   Here are some photos from Tuesday.  All the photos from Monday are on my point and shoot and those are more facebook worthy so what I can share I will put on there.

First I have to tell Mark from LaCour (he’s one of the top wedding photographers in the world) thanks for sharing so much with us.  You are an amazing photographer and most importantly an awesome person.  It is appreciated how you spent so much time with us and answered all our questions.  Oh, and you make a reallly good light stand too… (mark is holding my flash for me in the next photo)

Jenna is pregnant but you could hardly tell.  I wish I looked that great when I was pregnant, oh well some of us get big butts and look like crap and others look like her.

The four of us hung out pretty much the enitre time.  I am so lucky to have met such fun girls.

First off… I will not be available for shoots the month of May.  I am having surgery and will not be able to shoot for awhile after.  (Don’t worry Brooke Bailey my surgery is after your wedding). 

If you are in need of a session in April please schedule it right away, espicially Seniors.  Since I won’t be shooting in May I will be pretty busy in April, I am already pretty full for the first couple weeks and I know I still have a couple seniors to schedule.  If you know a senior that hasn’t had their pictures taken yet please send them my way and tell them not to put it off any longer.

You can still put orders in during May.  There will be a few days that I won’t be at my computer because of being in the hospital and laying on the couch so keep that in mind, but I will be stuck at home so after that things will actually get done pretty quickly.

During my time off I will still have some stuff going on the blog.  I will be finishing up my Project Dad and will share my book with everyone at that time.  Also I was recently asked to photograph a 1911 map of Starke County.  I know that doesn’t sound real interesting but honestly the detail of this map is amazing and awesome to see, but you will have to wait until May.

I have been asked if I am doing a Starke County Super Senior 2010, and the answer is YES.  I had a blast with last years group and look forward to the project this year.  I will be stopping in the schools soon so in a couple weeks the students that were choosen will be notifies.  The dates that I will do the shoots are Sunday, April 26th and Monday, April 27th.  In May I will also release some sneak peeks from that shoot as well.

I just got back from Indianapolis so if you place orders lately I will be getting them done today and tomorrow.  I had an awesome time hanging out with other photographers.  I learned a ton and made so many new friends.  I will share pics later.
