One month old and already a Colts fan…ljune2009_21-copy1

Landon showed me what he thinks about getting his picture taken.  I guess he would rather be home hangin’ out then at the studio. ljune2009_05-copy1

Jenny (Landon’s mom) looks at me and says, “Did you show horses?”  I say “Why yes I did.” (or something like that)  To make a long story short we both showed horses at the same shows growing up.  We didn’t really hang out as kids but we had mutual friends and knew who each other was.  (I am sure she kicked my butt several times in the ring).  So before we even started shooting we talked horses while her hubby sat and played with Landon.

I say this all the time, but I love my job.  I love that I have made so many friends and it has given me a chance to reconnect with so many old friends.   Jenny, I am thrilled for you and your new family.

Click here to zoom in on the photo.

Last night at the Starke County library in Knox, Indiana we revealed the Super Senior photo for the class of 2010.  The students in the photo are some of the top students in Starke County.  They were chosen by their principals to represent their school.  Students are from North Judson, Oregon-Davis and Knox.

The photo will be at the Knox library for 2 weeks.  It will go on tour around the county.  Make sure you tell the students that are super seniors congrats when you see them, because it is a huge honor to be a part of this.

When you are a Super Senior your name goes in a drawing for a $100 scholarship from Photography by Jayme, and two $50 savings bonds from 1st Source Bank.   Pictured below are the winners Nathan Hankins and Devin Ryan with Judy Caudil and Debbie Jernas from 1st Source.  Heather Pick was also a savings bond winner but was unable to attend last night due to prior commitment.img_4413bw-copy

My mom grabbed a picture of me and the students with the big picture…img_4411bw-copy

Huge Congrats to all the KHS 2009 Graduates. Good luck out there in the global world (LOL inside joke for all those that were there).   I really enjoyed your commencement.  It has been a long time since I attented one.  I hope to make it to future ones.  I was hired by a parent to be there but made sure I grabbed shots of other seniors I knew.

I also have to say I felt so welcome at your school.  We have such awesome young adults in our community!!

I will post all the photos I took in my storefront.
