Northern Indiana Photography: Danny, Jessica and kiddos

I am not a big fan of bw and color. I use to do it alot years ago, but not too crazy about it now. However as soon as I seen this pic, I thought it would look neat this way.

I was so lucky to spend some time with Danny, Jessica, Natalie and Nicholas. They are a wonderful family that is going thru a rough time right now. Danny has leukemia and will be having a stem cell transplant very soon. He will be away from his family for several months. Danny’s cousin called me and asked if I could find time to take their pictures and apologized for last minute notice, but that wasn’t a problem at all, heck I would have taken them at midnight if that is what needed to be done. I am glad they came to me for such important photos and I will make sure to send Danny lots of extra pictures so he has to keep with him.
If you want to keep up to date on Danny’s progress check out his BLOG and I am sure he would love to hear from his friends so send him a note or post a comment here on my blog, I am sure it will get to him.

These are warm, inspirational photos and I think the bw and colored Santa hat really works. I am still looking through my photos for this apple orchard picture I had with Danny when we were in kindergarten. Natalie and Nicholas remind me of Danny at that age!
