The kids got into it so much they didn’t want to leave.  Notice the coats in the last photo, yeah I was snapping pictures as the adults were headed out the door.  Thanks kids for a super fun time.

I love Hensler’s Nursery.  I can’t wait until after Thanksgiving to go there with the family and get our tree.  We have created a family tradition, and those are the things that kids will never forget as they grow up.

Thought I would share with everyone, something that I learned from John Hensler.  When we were out photographing his trees he stopped and showed me what a first year pine cone looked like.  It is so darn cute, I had no idea.  Here’s is a photo of one…

And I just have to share a picture of one of my favorite new products that they have for sale.  This is a snowflake made out of pine trees.  It is decorated on the other side as well so can be hung up for both sides to be displayed.  It is super cute.

I am going to pick one up when we are there next week to hang in my window.  I think they will make great gifts and to me it is Christmasy but yet something that can be left up afterwards since it is a snowflake.

She is always walking around in her mom’s shoes at home so I snapped a picture of her with them on showing us her top model pose.

Well, we tried to get some outside shots but it was freezing and windy and those didn’t turn out so hot.  Everyone looked cold.  But we were planning on doing some studio stuff anyways (good thing) and it was nice and warm in there.  Thanks Trisha from returning another year for your annual christmas pictures!!!  (and thanks Kylee for being such a good girl and so much fun)

Just a quick FYI:  I only have a couple time slots left in November.  (I still have a couple time slots this Saturday morning, make sure you contact me right away if you want one)  In December I have the 9th and 10th, possibly the 13th. <– not sure about the 13th because I need to find out when we are doing Christmas with my mom’s family.

I have been asked already if I will do sessions during Christmas break and yes I will.  I was going to take some time off, but I know how important it is to get family pictures taken and sometimes that is the only time family is in town.  Please let me know right away though so I can mark you down, I will be limiting my shooting so I can spend some much needed time with the kiddos.

2010 Seniors if you still haven’t had your pictures taken yet I will be doing one day during Christmas break.  I have a couple neat ideas so if someone is still in need and is willing to let me get creative then I think it will be a good time, also I want to shoot in the snow a couple times this winter and hopefully we will have some snow that week.  I think the snow pictures would be cool and not too many other people will have them, so a great way to be different from everyone else.  Also if I have enough interest I might rent a new backdrop so only people shot that day would have those pictures using that particular drop.

The Oregon-Davis Lady Cats are 2-0 to start the season.  Here are a couple pics from the last two games.  Good luck with the rest of the season.

It was nice having Seth, Tricia, Jakob and Ethan in the studio, although we would have rather been outside like planned.  Oh well, we still had fun.  Jakob and Ethan were such good boys, I have been lucky, the kids I have shot lately have been good.  Thanks Tricia for having me do your pictures again!! PS  Tell them boys next time they see me they have to tell me about the hockey game.

I am not a big fan of bw and color.  I use to do it alot years ago, but not too crazy about it now.  However as soon as I seen this pic, I thought it would look neat this way.

I was so lucky to spend some time with Danny, Jessica, Natalie and Nicholas.  They are a wonderful family that is going thru a rough time right now.  Danny has leukemia and will be having a stem cell transplant very soon.  He will be away from his family for several months.  Danny’s cousin called me and asked if I could find time to take their pictures and apologized for last minute notice, but that wasn’t a problem at all, heck I would have taken them at midnight if that is what needed to be done.  I am glad they came to me for such important photos and I will make sure to send Danny lots of extra pictures so he has to keep with him.

I have known Dawn forever, we went to school together.  She’s pretty funny.  If I remember correctly she was voted class clown.  (don’t kill me for saying that Dawn)  This was the first time I met her man Randy, and he is super nice, and has a son that is a sweetie (usually teenage boys would rather not get their pictures taken).  I loved picking on Aaron.   I am sure he just loves me after our photo session, especially when I said, “hey let’s tie Aaron up with the Christmas lights!”.  Thanks gang for hanging out with me!!!

Don’t miss out on seeing Santa!  We always have a good time at Elizabeth’s Garden in Culver when Santa is there.   Call if you have any questions, no appointments, just walk-in.  Jayme @ 574-867-6776  Elizabeth’s Garden is located near the Culver Cove.  It is a super cute shop.  They always have it decorated so nice for the holidays.  You can also do alittle Christmas shopping while there.  They have Vera Bradley purses!!!  <— which I love

Kids can even bring their letter to Santa if they want to.  I will be giving Santa my Christmas list.

Tonight is the first regular season game for the Oregon-Davis Lady Bobcat Basketball Team. (Tues at OD 5:15 pm central time)  OD Fans also know that is when the posters are available.  You wouldn’t believe all the e-mails and all family family that has been bugging me to see the posters.  Thought I would let everyone finally see it.  (PS  Harold Welter asked what we were doing for the poster awhile back and I didn’t even tell him, kinda mean considering everything Harold does for all of us, but am I good at keeping a secret or what)

Gotta say huge thanks to my buddy Nichole Frank for helping me out setting up the lights and the shot.  She really helped Kelsey with her mean look.  LOL  FYI Nichole is pregnant but she can still pack a mean punch…

Me, I am not pregnant, just been eating too many chocolate donuts, and I am a wimp, but I can look mean crazy…

We had a fun time at the shoot.  I about took out a ceiling fan when I moved one of my lights.  Wasn’t funny at the time, but hilarious now since the fan didn’t break and the ceiling didn’t come down on us, only damage done was to one of my umbrellas, but every time I look at it I think of the Lady Cats!

Good luck girls, I am excited about the upcoming season.  Play your game, stay healthy and I know you guys will be fine.  Special lovin’ to the senior girls that I have watched play since they were little.

Brayden is such alittle chubby boy.  He has the checks that you want to kiss.

Gotta mention that Brayden’s mommy got a gift certificate for the session for her baby shower.  She told me how she was thrilled to get it and thought is was an awesome gift idea and told me I need to tell others what a good idea Photography by Jayme gift certificates are.  So there, I told ya.  LOL
