Lately I have taken head shots for several people that are currently running for election. Pictured here is the current Starke County Prosecutor Julianne Havens.

Last night my friend Nichole and I went to the Professional Photographers of America Tour in Chicago, IL. We seen Allison and Jeff Rodgers and the awesome Gary Fong. We had a blast. Here are some pictures from last night…

We went to the wrong hotel… We had no clue there was two Hyatt’s within 1 mile of each other. (crazy) At the wrong hotel there was a Coleman Expo going on, so we crashed it…. Here is me trying to look cool….

Here is poor Nichole, this guy was giving her stuff to put on…

Yeah she is wearing waist high wadders and still looks hot…

And here are some shots of the speakers. (sorry not the best, we sat towards the back) I shouldn’t even post the one of Jeff and Allison because they look so sad, actually they were just listening to questions from the crowd.

Huge thanks to Nichole for asking me to go with her. I am so lucky to have awesome photography friends. I also seen my friend Cathy Dietz and her hubby there. (they went to wrong hotel too, he he)
And for the record yes we learned stuff while we were there. I have lots of new ideas and can’t wait to implement them. Stay tuned folks!

I really enjoyed this shoot. Theses girls crack me up. I took a video clip of them dancing that I will post on facebook for them. Wes I posted the chicken picture on here just for.

Shelby is such a cool girl. She is into acting, singing and is such a creative fun girl. We had a fun time the other day.
Thanks to my mom for holding the reflector for me and for tagging along, it was fun having you help me.
My nephew is having his 1st Communion very soon. I had him in the studio for some pictures. He did sooo good.

He so looks like he is getting away with something here…

Hey dad, I am ready to go hunting…

The Elizabeth’s Garden Gang… Penny, Barb, Elizabeth and Victor (he’s the one that runs the place)

Some pictures from Elizabeth’s Garden, a few I can’t post because they are gifts… (I will post Victor’s in a separate post)
These are thumbnails you can click on them and they will enlarge. (I will get them posted on facebook for you)
Last Saturday I went to the 5th and 6th grade OD girls basketball tourney, I had a blast and so did my kids. I just love basketball!!
The 5th grade team lost in the final game by 2 stinkin’ points. They just ran out of steam. (ask Brandon, that is what he told my mom too). I am so proud of them though. Although I do have to say the Argos team they were playing was pretty darn good. The OD 6th grade team dominated big time and claimed their trophy. Here is the 6th grade tourney champs….

I have a feeling this group of girls will get several chances to raise the trophy up in the air, they are awesome.

Here is a picture of one of my favorite players Riley… she is one of my faves because one day I got the nicest comment from her on facebook out of no where. I don’t forget things like that.

Here is Samantha with her friend Ashleigh eating their snow cones.

And here is Brandon with Kimberly who is one of his girlfriends. He likes girls that can carry him around. LOL

EDIT TO ADD: Pics are now in the storefront. I do have some pics of some girls on the other teams, I think I grabbed some of Argos and South Central. If you see someone you know, please let them know. (Becky G- I am talking to you)
They can be found here… www.photographybyjayme.com/store
One last photo of the OD Lady Cats Varsity Basketball team. I took their picture the other day for the wall. Was fun to hang out with them. (sniff, sniff, gonna miss the seniors)

Oh and I have to post this pic of Andrea and Kelsey. Andrea’s primary goal in life is to get on my blog…

My friend Jana had a rough week with the passing of her grandma.
She asked that I get a family picture for her since it is rare for everyone to be together.

Sorry I haven’t posted on the blog in so long, I have been sick for the last 3 days. Yeah not fun, espicially since it has been so nice outside. Lots of posts coming up in the next couple days.
I also want to remind everyone that I will be at Elizabeth’s Garden in Culver doing Spring/Easter pictures in her shop. We always have a good time there. Please spread the word for me.

I love this shot of Weston and his daddy….

Weston and Millie are super kids. They did so good job for me despite fighting colds. Their session was suppose to be last Monday and their mom called because they were sick and their colds just keep on keeping on (Brandon had the same thing awhile back).
Hopefully next time everyone can be healthy and the weather will be warmer so we can venture outside.

Journey wasn’t in the mood for pictures yesterday morning. She was a stinker. She is just way to smart. She didn’t fall for my usual tricks I use to get kids to smile, well I guess she did a few times but unfortunately she had gum in her mouth and kinda’ had a crazy smile. I told Brooke that Journey is sooo much like Samantha at that age. Oh how Brooke is gonna have fun times for sure. Sorry girl wish I could help ya, that’s what happens when you have smarty pants kids.
Oh and I have to share this cute quote from her questions….
What is dancing? Something daddy doesn’t do.
