Culver Indiana Photography: Lane and his family

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Lane’s parents, aunt and grandparents were in town for the Culver Academy Reunion weekend.  The session was a Christmas gift for the grandparents so this was planned back in November before Lane was even here.  I had a wonderful time with all of you, I hope you enjoyed your time in Culver and that you didn’t get too wet.  I am so glad we got the pictures done just in time before the rain came.  I hope to see you next year.

Indiana Photography: Oregon-Davis Prom 2010

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

WKVI radio and the Newshawk paper needed pictures from the OD prom so I dragged myself away  from the camp fire I was sitting at went to the prom.  I am glad I did, it was so nice to see everyone dressed up so nice.  And I thought the gym looked great so kuddos to those involved in that.  Here are just a couple pictures.

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

I am offering a new service.  Removal of Brace.   So if you have braces and they aren’t going to be off any time soon, don’t worry I can remove them digitally.  Here is an example of one of Julia’s photos that we retouched.

Travis was easy to photograph.  He always had a smile on his face.  He brought his mom and his girlfriend with him and I put them to work holding the reflector.  They had a harder job then Travis or I had because it was super windy and that reflector wanted to blow away.  Thanks you two for helping make Travis’ picture so good, couldn’t have done it without you two holding the reflector for me.

Hope you didn’t end up getting any poison ivy.  I am all clear!

Indiana Photography: OD Mini Relay for Life

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Today I went to Oregon-Davis for their mini Relay for Life.  It was AWESOME!!!  I had a blast, the kids had fun and I know they learned alot too.  Great job to everyone that put it together.  The National Honor Society members put on a wonderful presentation to the kids.  I was very impressed! :)  Here are just a few photos from the event.  I am posting more on facebook.  I will put them in the Starke County Relay For Life Group.

The NHS students asked the kids to raise their hands if they thought Jayme was the coolest person in the gym.  Lots of hands went up! (Even Jerry had his hand up LOL)

They spelled out HOPE with the bags the kids made.  Samantha made one for our cousin Maggie.  It was really nice.  She put on it.. “Good job to my cousin Maggie.  I don’t like cancer”

The first time I met Christina and her mom Amy was at the OD mini relay.  Remember guys.  How many years ago was that????

Sadie was wearing my favorite color so we had to take a picture on the backdrop that color too.  I have a ton of shirts that same color, I am drawn to it.

Was nice hanging out with you and your mom.  Thanks for the drive in your electric car.  Super cool.  GO GREEN!!!

Indiana Photography: Congrats Courtney and Kelsey

Friday, May 7th, 2010

I have been busy and haven’t had a chance to post this so sorry for the delay, but a couple weeks ago Courtney Surma and Kelsey Minix competed in Florida with their  Indiana Ultimate All-Stars Cheerleading Squad and placed 11th in the World.  I seen their routine and it was AMAZING!!

Not only are they great cheerleaders, they are awesome students too.  I just seen them both today helping with the National Honor Society’s Mini Relay for Life at the school.  Both are so good at working with the kids.
