Indiana Senior Pictures: Liz from North Judson HS

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

The sky was constantly changing all evening.  It was like a show was being put on for our photo shoot.  These next two pictures were taken within about 15 mins of each other.

Liz works at a vet clinic and loves animals and they love her too…

During the session Liz asked me, “Is every session this much fun?”  I had a hard time answering that because I am thinking what to say because I wouldn’t consider what we had gone thru “fun”.  Let me try to quickly fill you in on my evening with Liz.

- The horses broke the fence that day and they were in the pen we would be shooting in, so we had to move them to the other pen. (not easy, but we got it)

-While getting Liz’s horse saddled her best friend Sam got stepped on by the horse.  (she was wearing flip flops)  So I played nurse for a few seconds and then both Sam and I had to get back to helping Liz.

- While shooting Liz and her one horse another horse knocked the broken fence over and came in the pen with us and thought it would be fun to pick on the photographer.  LOL

-In between takes I put my light stand in the barn and tried to put it out of the way.  I knocked down a feed sack and I had a pile of dirt dumped on me.  I just stood there for a second and said a bad word (not like me) and then dusted myself off and helped Liz.

-We couldn’t get Liz’s chaps to zip up.   If you are someone that has worn chaps before you understand.  It isn’t easy every, but when everyone is sweating and miserable it is rough.  Sam and I got them zipped up though, we were a great team!

- The dogs, well they acted like dogs.  LOL

-We all were sweating big time it was so humid out.  I actually had Liz run back home before we headed to train museum to freshen up because the poor girl was a mess after dealing with horses and dogs.

That is most of it in a nutshell.  Did Liz have fun?  She said she did and that is all that matters.  Her mom I know didn’t have fun dealing with the dogs, but I think she enjoyed watching her daughter have fun, Sam got stepped on so I am thinking even if she had fun that kinda ruined her evening, and you know what, despite all the craziness I had fun too, and we got awesome pictures!!!

Since Sam got stepped and still sucked it up and helped her best friend out she get the Photography by Jayme Best Helper Award.  Thanks Sam for your help, I know Liz appreciated it and so did I.

Indiana Senior Pictures: Courtney a Senior at Oregon-Davis

I am going to start off  by sharing the last couple photos of the hot and humid evening with Courtney.  We were waiting for just alittle bit so the sun went down alititle more and all the sudden Courtney yells “RAINBOW!” so we scurry and grabbed a few shots before it was gone which didn’t take long it all.  It is pretty amazing there even was one last night because it only rained a few drops where we were.

Courtney brought her best buddy Megan… (yep the same Megan that was on the blog last week with the 4 horses)

Everyone has a friend that seems to be good at everything, well Courtney is that friend to many people.

First off, she sews.  The outfit she is wearing and the ones hanging on the stand she made.  Pretty cool huh!  She will be modeling the one she is wearing down at State Fair.  And then there are alot of trophies there in the picture from other 4H projects.

And she is one AMAZING gymnast.  Do you see what the jacket says there in the back…. “National Champion”

She is a cheerleader too. (I really good one!)  We are going to take her cheerleading pictures in the fall because she still has more medals to win in that category.

Huge thanks to Megan for helping with all of Courtney’s stuff!  I had so much fun with you guys, wish it wasn’t so humid, but if I had to sweat with someone I would rather it be you girls.  LOL

Matt is an accountant at Vera Bradley so they chose their wedding colors from Michelle’s favorite Vera pattern.  How cool is that!?!?!?  BTW I love Vera.  We have several here at my house.  Actually my SIL Alesha bought me one for my 30th birthday and I still use it all the time  (yeah that was almost 3 years ago).
