Earthquake!!!
4:40 am central time I felt it. It was an Earthquake. A 5.4 on the radar, locatted new in Southern IN/IL. I am still shaking. I can’t image how the people near the center are feeling right now. Honestly it scared me to death. It was all I could do to keep from screaming to Bob that was downstairs in the shower. It felt like someone was shaking my bed.
My dad was also woke up by it. He said his closet doors were making a clicking noise.
Please if you felt the quake leave me a comment, I want to know what you were doing, where you were and what it felt like to you.

We felt it! Our pet gerbils (who are right outside our bedroom door) were up chewing their tubes and Doug had forgotten to shut our door so we were awake. Well, at least Doug was. He said he heard a rumbling coming and then felt the house shake. I was half asleep and thought it was Doug flopping around in bed but it wasn’t! Kinda weird.

I was also in bed, and my first thought was, why can’t I hear the train. We live about two blocks from the track so I’m often woke up by a shaking bed. However, this time it was a little more severe than usual. But coming out of the coma I was in, I just dismissed it as one wicked train and rolled back over and went to sleep. When I got up, I learned it had been an earthquake and the kid’s dad, who was still up, was still freaking over it. Totally wild…
