Just call him Mr. January.  We have been having alot of fun with this the last few weeks. (yeah I said weeks, we have known about this for awhile but I have been too busy to post about it, plus I had to wait until we were done playing a trick on the girls at the Brems Co-op, inside joke but basically involves me digitally putting my dad’s head on a a HOT bodybuilder guy’s body).  Anyways…. My favorite photo so far of my dad in my “Project Dad” series was published in a national calendar.

I was totally bummed that we had a yucky day.  We had wanted to take pictures at their farm.  Oh well, maybe next year.  We did still have fun.  Although it was Brittani one of my seniors that made it fun for us all (I will be posting her pictures very soon).  As always…here are some of my favorites…

These guys have been on my blog before.  Actually Cody has been on several times and his mug still graces my website.  (I love that shot with your car by your grandma’s house).  Anyways, Cody was home and Betti Jo wanted me to get some photos of the family together.  Bailey (the little guy) was not in the mood at all, although later in the shoot he did awesome.  They thought he was just being a stinker, turned out the little guy was sick.  I talked to Betti Jo yesterday and she said he is finally feeling better.  Here are a few of my faves…

Take Care Cody!!!

This was so much fun.  I knew it would be.  It has been awhile since I photographed Zane, but last time I had a blast, he has the best personality in the world.  He acts so grown up I forget how young he is.  I had’t photographed the rest of the kiddos except I usually get a snap shot of Zoe at the bastketball games or trick-or-treating.  Anyways, here are my faves from one of the funniest sessions ever.  Thanks guys for making me smile, and special thanks Zane for just being you!!!

This was the first time I got to meet Charlie, he is such a good baby.  Chess…. I have photographed him several times, he is such a cutie, and a great big brother.  He always goes to Elizabeth’s Garden in Culver to see Santa and I look foward seeing him.  Not gonna go on and on about how cute they were just look at the pictures..

This was the very last picture of our session.  I just love it.  Makes me smile.

It was so nice out and I know we aren’t going to have many more days like this so I called my niece and told her to bring her kids over for some photos and to have some fun outside.  When I got looking at the pictures I realized my cat was in just about every photo.  Isn’t that funny.  Check it out he is even in the photo with the kids playing the riding toys.

My kids are so lucky, they have tons of cousins their age to play with.  I hope they all are still hanging out when they are 16.

I just love these guys.  I wish I could keep them all this age.  I don’t want them to grow up. 

This session was so much fun, the kids were so good and cracked us up big time.  Hayden kept pulling down his ears and shaking his little booty.  I enjoyed every minute of it.  Here are some of my faves…. (isn’t he such a little cutie, love this one of big sis giving him a kiss)

Tatum is a sweetheart but was sooo tired when she was at my studio.  Her mom said she fell asleep just a couple minutes down the road after they left.  (I knew that would happen).  We struggled to get her to stay still but it wasn’t a problem when she got to hold the kitty.  (that cat as saved me on a few kid shoots)  Here are my faves…

Tatum, just think…next time I see you, you will be a big sister! 

I was soooo bummed when Shannon told me their wedding date.  It was on a Friday the day before I shoot another wedding.  Right now I am not doing weddings back to back the next day.  It is just too much for me and my family and Gwen since she would ha.  So I had to send her to another photographer.  Luckily we got her a good one!!  They still wanted me to do their engagment which I was thrilled to do.  We had a wonderful time and got some amazing shots.

It gets dark so darn fast, this one was taken at about 6pm.  I love how dramatic it is.

I wish you guys the best.  Clinton- you found yourself a sweetheart and she happens to be gorgeous too, so happy for you.

I am honored to be Morgan’s photographer.  Makes me feel good that her mom Mandy schedules her trips home from Texas around times that Morgan needs her pictures taken.  One thing we always do is get a couple mommy and Morgan pictures….

While Mandy and Morgan were playing in the leaves, I grabbed this shot.  I LOVE, LOVE it.  I need one like this of Brandon holding leaves.  I have a cute one of Samantha and leaves when she was about two.

Since Mandy and Morgan live in Texas and it’s not like they can come for several different sessions, we did fall, halloween costume, mandy and morgan together, and birthday cake pictures all in one.  (I don’t usually do this, and 90% of the one year olds I know couldn’t handle it either, it is just Morgan is suppper happy little girl, and Mandy is super patient.)

And….if Morgan didn’t spend enough time in front of my camera, I go to Hensler’s Nursery to take some senior pictures and who is there… (yep you guessed it…Morgan and her family)  They seen the photos of my kids on my blog when we went there so they decided to check it out.  So since I happened to be there with a camera in my hands, and Morgan happened to be looking pretty darn cute I snapped this….

Really, I don’t know to say about this family except they know how to have FUN! (we did lots of laughing, espically at Nick- oh and by the way Nick you totally owe me for not posting the out-takes of you, I have a ton of them)

I can’t wait until their wedding.  I can already tell it is going to be a blast.  I met Kari’s mom Linda when I was in Danville, IL photographying the Budweiser Clydesdales.  I am thrilled that she thought enough about me to ask me if I wanted to travel to West Lafayette, IN to photograph her daughter’s wedding.  Espicailly since I know first had there are alot of great photographer’s in their area. 

Okay about Kari and Brandon….they love each other, they love Purdue and they love Sammy the dog that they rescued.  (yep they rescued that little pup, who is such a sweetie).  Thanks guys for such a fun morning!
