Mr. Berg was my 6th grade teacher.  I am honored they asked me to take their family pictures.  Dave is not in good health and I wish his family the best during this difficult time. 

Photos were taken at Ogden Gardens in Valpo.

They will soon be celebrating their 50th.

What a successful night.  The purpose of the event was to raise money for the Starke Co. Legacy of Women Endowment fund.  It will fund programs designed to improve the leadership capacity of women in Starke County.  I am not sure how much money was raised, but the event was successful in another way… it brought women together and showed everyone just how many successful business women we have in our community.

The highlight of the night for me was my massage from Christina Howard http://www.healing-touch.massagetherapy.com/ It was amazing!!!  Here is a pic mom took of me right before.  After I was so relaxed I almost crawled under the table to take a nap.

The Vendors had some great booths set up.  Elizabeth’s Garden was busy selling Vera Bradley, Crocs, and those cute Webkinz.

Here is my mom doing some shopping for jewlery and a shot of her after she won a gift basket.

The Entertainment for the evening was Kathleen Jerrell playing the Dulcimer and A Vintage Style Show from Cole Clothing Museum.

There were even a couple items from the closet of our community members, shown below is Janell Wilson.

Oh, I have to mention, I figured out why I wasn’t asked to participate in the fashion show.  They knew I can’t do heels very well, did you notice how high they were.  Kuddos to the girls in the show, they were awesome.

I met Amelia and Todd at a 50th anniversary party for Amelia’s grandparents.  After managing to get a group picture of her entire family she figured if I could handle that I could handle anything.  The wedding was held at the Culver Academy Chapel and the Reception at the Woodcraft Dinning Hall.  I was told by her mom that Amelia pretty much did it all, even decorated the hall herself.  It was beautiful and I really enjoyed myself.

Ladies-let’s get together and have some fun!  In case you haven’t heard Thurs. September 20th will be Ladies Night Out at the Knox Community Center starting at 5:00 cst.  (everyone is invited as long as you are over the age of 13, which I now qualify since I had my 13th birthday a few weeks ago- wait that was 30)  Anyways, $5 admission which includes food and a fashion show  (kinda bummed no one asked me to be a model-what is up with that?) 

Well, I hope to see all of you there.  I plan on coming and of course I will bring my camera so maybe, just maybe you can have your picture on my blog next week.  LOL

The first round of pictures where for her mom (curly hair, more formal shoot), this one was for her (straightened her hair, did her color guard stuff and just plain had fun).  Kayla is the best at not smiling.  Usually people can’t do the serious look, not her, she is great at it.  This shot is my fave!!!!!!!!  (P.S.  I stayed up super late last night to make sure I got these editted and put on here for ya since I have a wedding later today, I knew you were just as excitted as I was to see them.

“STUNNING!” That is the comment from Anne-Marie one of my photographer friends that seen this.  I have to agree Sarah is a stunning girl.

Studio is pretty much finished.  I am able to shoot in it but still have a couple things that need to get done.  Anyways, one project that is done is adding more stone to our driveway so everyone has a place to park.  Thought I would post some pics because one of my blog stalkers is Jill and figured she would appreciate seeing these.  Also want to say hi to Jana!!  Oh and I guess I should thank Brad for bringing the stone huh.  Also, I did not pose my kid in any of these, she was super model for some reason.
