Indiana Photography: Victor is ONE!
Monday, July 12th, 2010Indiana Photography: Barbara brought her grandkids to the studio
Monday, July 12th, 2010Barbara has been a facebook stalker for some time and she even brought her older grandkids to the Easter shoot I had in Culver, Indiana. Well the other day her grandkids from California were in town so she made the drive from Mexico, IN for me to take pictures of them all. I was worried since there were 4 kids under the age of like Nine, but they did great. Actually the one that we were most worried about gave me some of the best shots….
Love this shot…
This makes me smile :)
I told the kids if they were good for me I would do something fun with them at the end of the session. Plus I knew they had drove a long way to the studio so I wanted it to be a super fun experience for them. So we got out the photo booth props…
Barbara’s new facebook profile picture needs to be this shot…
Thanks again sooo much Barbara for making the long drive. I hope you had fun and love the pictures.
Indiana Photography: Andrew’s photo shoot
Monday, July 12th, 2010Andrew got his grandparents a gift certificate for a photo session. That has to be the best gift ever if I say so myself. He got pictures taken with his grandparents and parents…
and then just him and his parents…
And then we did lots of fun pictures of just Andrew..
Andrew likes to play catch with his dad so we got some baseball pictures…
And my favorite picture of the day… Him and his daddy playing catch…
Big thanks to Andrew for always being such a good boy when he comes to the studio. And to his mommy and daddy for always bringing him!! :)

Friday, July 9th, 2010Indiana Photography: Allison’s family
Friday, July 9th, 2010Remember that cute little Allison that was just on the blog? Over 4th of July weekend I went to her grandparents house and took some pictures of her family. There were family members from all over the place, even Canada.
The sad part was poor little Allison didn’t feel good, but she was a trooper, here she is layin’ around waiting for pictures…
Here is one of the Canadian Super Models… ( I love this shot!!!)
The entire group….
At the end of picture time, Al (Allison’s father) got dressed up for us….
Then some of the other adults got into the act…
And then they dressed up the dog…
Then the kids got all dressed up too…
Indiana Photography: Dixie’s family
Friday, July 9th, 2010Only posted a couple pictures because there were so many different groups and my luck I will leave someone out. At the end we just did a quick shot of everyone that was at the family gathering.
Here is Dixie and her hubby. Dixie use to work at the nursing home where my great grandfather Jernas was at. She said he was a sweetie.
It was crazy hot that day. I am thinking 90ish. But these girls didn’t let the heat bother them they had a good time enjoying the 4th of July weekend and their families…
Indiana Photography: Knox, Indiana Family
Friday, July 2nd, 2010Kyle just graduated from Knox High School and his mom mentioned that she wanted family pictures when her husband was back in the country. I am so glad she called and got them done. It is important to have family pictures taken when kids are older and not just when they are toddlers. And if you don’t go to a professional photographer at least hand your point and shoot over to someone and get one taken.(done with my public service announcement)
Kyle…
Lauren…
Have a wonderful summer and enjoy time together!!!
Indiana Photography: Family Photos in Walkerton, Indiana
Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Grandma and Grandpa are known for their awesome garden, so we had to take a few pictures there….
Never too old or big to sit on dad’s lap. Although I am thinking Eric is way too big. He’s got to be like 6’5″ or so, but that doesn’t stop him. So glad I had my camera ready to grab this shot.
Thanks gang for allowing me to photograph your family again, I had fun. I think I captured all the fun stuff at grandma and grandpa’s house (the kittens, garden, pool, tire swings)
PS I went to school with Eric, Dave and Tara. Also Dave and Eric’s grandparents live just down the road from me, the stopped over and I got some pictures of them too. So glad, you guys will cherish those too.

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010Northern Indiana Photography: Nappanee Missionary Church
Thursday, June 10th, 2010I had the pleasure of teaching some photography to the video crew at the Nappanee Missionary Church. My cousin Rodney is in charge of Media there. I mostly worked on composition with them. We had lots of fun with it. At least I did, guess I shouldn’t speak for the rest of the group.
Here is Rodney getting ready to introduce me…

The church is HUGE. We kinda invaded the choir’s practice session. They were troopers though, they didn’t let us bother them.

After I was done with the class Rod showed me where he does his video magic.

And here is the just a small portion of the outside of the church…

Thanks Rodney for asking me to speak to your group. Everyone was super and made me feel welcome. I hope they all walked away with something.
