Friday, July 9th, 2010Indiana Photography: Dixie’s family
Friday, July 9th, 2010Only posted a couple pictures because there were so many different groups and my luck I will leave someone out. At the end we just did a quick shot of everyone that was at the family gathering.
Here is Dixie and her hubby. Dixie use to work at the nursing home where my great grandfather Jernas was at. She said he was a sweetie.
It was crazy hot that day. I am thinking 90ish. But these girls didn’t let the heat bother them they had a good time enjoying the 4th of July weekend and their families…
Indiana Senior Photography: Elisabeth from Knox High School
Friday, July 2nd, 2010Had a blast hanging out with Elisabeth and her mom. Here are a few of her senior pictures….
these last 3 are my faves…
It was got dark fast Wednesday night, so at the end of the session I had to find some light from other sources.
Proud of this next shot, it was so dark my camera could barely focus, I am so bummed that I had taken my little flash light out of my bag when we had no power.
I also have some sports shots we took in the studio. I am gonna make a cool collage but don’t have the time today. I will get that done and posted early next week.
Thanks Elisabeth for doing so well, and to Judy for always having the comb ready!! :)
Indiana Photography: Knox, Indiana Family
Friday, July 2nd, 2010Kyle just graduated from Knox High School and his mom mentioned that she wanted family pictures when her husband was back in the country. I am so glad she called and got them done. It is important to have family pictures taken when kids are older and not just when they are toddlers. And if you don’t go to a professional photographer at least hand your point and shoot over to someone and get one taken.(done with my public service announcement)

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010Here he is… my last 2010 senior (well I think, unless someone else wants some really cool senior pictures and hasn’t had them taken yet)

Nathan’s girlfriend and her sister came with for the session. We had fun. Here is Nathan and Shalea (btw she is one of my 2011 super seniors)…
Thanks for doing such a good job Nathan despite the fact that you didn’t want senior pictures. Glad your girlfriend and mom talk you into it. See you Friday night at graduation commencement.
Culver Indiana Photography: Lane and his family
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010Lane’s parents, aunt and grandparents were in town for the Culver Academy Reunion weekend. The session was a Christmas gift for the grandparents so this was planned back in November before Lane was even here. I had a wonderful time with all of you, I hope you enjoyed your time in Culver and that you didn’t get too wet. I am so glad we got the pictures done just in time before the rain came. I hope to see you next year.

Indiana Photography: Congrats Courtney and Kelsey
Friday, May 7th, 2010I have been busy and haven’t had a chance to post this so sorry for the delay, but a couple weeks ago Courtney Surma and Kelsey Minix competed in Florida with their Indiana Ultimate All-Stars Cheerleading Squad and placed 11th in the World. I seen their routine and it was AMAZING!!
Not only are they great cheerleaders, they are awesome students too. I just seen them both today helping with the National Honor Society’s Mini Relay for Life at the school. Both are so good at working with the kids.

Indiana Photographer: Monkey Farts
Friday, April 30th, 2010A friend of mine owned a small candle making business and had a scent called Monkey Farts. (Actually she was my also my very first paid photography session over 6 years ago anyways…)It is one of my all time favorite candle scents and once and awhile when I need someone to smile I just say “Monkey Farts” and they can’t help but put a smile on their face (plus I like saying Monkey Farts.
Well, I have alittle problem, someone else (also a friend) owns the company now and is making the Monkey Fart scent but she calls it Monkey Butt. Well, Monkey Butt is funny but not as funny as Monkey Farts. So I am gonna plea to her to change the name back to Monkey Farts.
So go to my facebook page (business one) and leave a comment saying to change the name.
CLICK HERE TO GET TO MY FACEBOOK PAGE (it’s my photography page)
And here is what the candle looks like right now as it is burning sitting on top of my desk smelling my home with the scent of Monkey Butt Farts.

PS If you want some awesome soy candles call LeAnn at 574-225-2373. (make sure you ask for the monkey farts scent because it is the best. Oh and the grandma’s kitchen one is good too especially for people like me that don’t bake. LOL)
If I get her to change the scent name I will buy someone that commented a Monkey FART candle. I will pick the winner out of the list of people that help me. So get on facebook and comment under the post to CHANGE IT BACK TO MONKEY FARTS!
