Monday, July 12th, 2010Andrew got his grandparents a gift certificate for a photo session. That has to be the best gift ever if I say so myself. He got pictures taken with his grandparents and parents…
and then just him and his parents…
And then we did lots of fun pictures of just Andrew..
Andrew likes to play catch with his dad so we got some baseball pictures…
And my favorite picture of the day… Him and his daddy playing catch…
Big thanks to Andrew for always being such a good boy when he comes to the studio. And to his mommy and daddy for always bringing him!! :)
Indiana Photography: Knox, Indiana Family
Friday, July 2nd, 2010Kyle just graduated from Knox High School and his mom mentioned that she wanted family pictures when her husband was back in the country. I am so glad she called and got them done. It is important to have family pictures taken when kids are older and not just when they are toddlers. And if you don’t go to a professional photographer at least hand your point and shoot over to someone and get one taken.(done with my public service announcement)
Kyle…
Lauren…
Have a wonderful summer and enjoy time together!!!
Indiana Photography: Family Photos in Walkerton, Indiana
Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Grandma and Grandpa are known for their awesome garden, so we had to take a few pictures there….
Never too old or big to sit on dad’s lap. Although I am thinking Eric is way too big. He’s got to be like 6′5″ or so, but that doesn’t stop him. So glad I had my camera ready to grab this shot.
Thanks gang for allowing me to photograph your family again, I had fun. I think I captured all the fun stuff at grandma and grandpa’s house (the kittens, garden, pool, tire swings)
PS I went to school with Eric, Dave and Tara. Also Dave and Eric’s grandparents live just down the road from me, the stopped over and I got some pictures of them too. So glad, you guys will cherish those too.

Monday, June 7th, 2010If these were my girls I would have a HUGE canvas of this hanging in my living room for sure!!!

I’ve been photographing these sisters for a few years now. Love when they come over. We always have fun. I had too much fun and was wore out after they left. I tried to make the session lots of fun so they are always excited to come back. We even did some sidewalk chalk art for alittle while.
HERE is a link to last years shoot if u want to see more of these sisters.

Indiana Photography: Heather and Brian’s engagement session
Monday, April 12th, 2010Got to start off with one of my favorite ring shots ever. (and I can’t take credit for the idea Brian set it on there) Isn’t Heather’s ring amazing. I love it!

Quick animation I threw together, I should have had it repeat a couple times but am in a hurry because I need to leave so I will have to fix it later. You’ll just have to hit refresh and scroll down real quick until I get back.

Thanks Heather and Brian for the fun afternoon. Side note to all Brian’s friends… don’t fall for his cat joke.
Northern Indiana Photography: South Bend Event
Monday, December 21st, 2009Not sure how much I can post since it was a corporate event, so I am just gonna post one safe photo. Here is a shot from the balcony in the Palis Royale.

The place was beautiful and the staff was super. Before going there I also did head shots at the LaSalle Grill. They were so accommodating and even helped me carry my studio equipment up the stairs to the room I set up in. I would highly recommend both the Palis Royale and the LaSalle Grill for events. Both were top notch in every way.
Also huge thanks to my mom who went along for the ride and helped me carry my stuff. I tricked her into getting a head shot by telling her to pose for me so I could test my lighting. LOL So here is my super duper sweet mom that is always helping me out. So lucky to have her!!! Thanks MOM! (you still looked good after all that running around we did)

Indiana Photography: Starke County Economic Dev.
Friday, December 11th, 2009This afternoon I attended the Starke County Economic Developement Foundation’s Open House. They announced their new name, logo and released their new website. I didn’t take many pictures, I was too busy eating and talking to everyone. (I do both too much) But here are a few images from todays luncheon.
Charlie was working right up to the start of the open house…

Lisa, Tammy and Ron greeted people at the door…

They unveiled a banner that had their new logo on it.

It was nice to see everyone. Thanks for the invite Charlie and Lisa, I always have a wonderful time with you folks. We are very lucky to have a wonderful team working to get business to our area. I love the new website, I hope we have more groundbreakings in 2010!!
Northern Indiana Photography: Mason, his big blue eyes, his doggie and a stick
Sunday, August 30th, 2009Meet my nephew Mason (he’s Jon’s son if you couldn’t tell). He has my dad’s baby blue eyes.

Mason is on the go all the time. It was hard to get him to stay still, sometimes we didn’t even try, we just let him do his thing. He found this big stick that he carried around during most of the shoot. I think it is so funny how us parents can spend so much money on toys and our kids enjoy playing with stuff like sticks.
