Indiana Senior Photography: Abby from Knox HS

I really like these next two shots.  My lovely and talented husband made me a reflector to put under her face so I could try a different lighting technique.  I really like how it turned out.  Thanks Bob!!!

Thanks Abby for the wonderful evening!  Both of Abby’s parents came with.  I love when dad’s are there for their daughter’s sessions.  I think they enjoy watching their daughter’s do the “model” thing and I like it because they are really good reflector holders.  LOL  So girls if your dad wants to come bring them along, the more the merrier.

Have a wonderful senior year!!  :)

This is one of my favorite shots!  Gotta love cool old trucks.

Amanda’s horse cowboy wanted to eat grass the entire time, so it wasn’t easy to get his head up or to get his attention.  Luckily Amanda’s mom figured out a good truck and once she did it worked ever time.

Getting in the water was their idea, and I am so glad Amanda wanted to, I just love this shot.

How cool is this…

Amanda’s boyfriend Connor is a sweetie.  He is also a good reflector holder too.  Not so good at getting a horses attention but that’s okay, he did his job.

I LOVE this jumping shot.  Amanda is a fun girl and this totally shows her personality.

This was one of those sessions where everything just worked out perfectly.  The evening was cool for a July day and the sky was pretty blue and Amanda and her mom had some great ideas, I got to just stand by and let everything fall into place and snap the pictures.

Thanks for the awesome evening gang!!!

This session was well, fun really isn’t the word for it.   Hmmm, let’s just say it was very entertaining.  I was laughing my butt off the entire time.  Kelsey did an amazing job considering there was chaos going around her the entire time.  It is going down in the books as one I will never forget.  Thanks Andrea for taking the wonderful photos of me and my cheerleader moves.

Northern Indiana Senior Photographer: Model Shoot Tomorrow!!

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I can’t wait until tomorrow, I have several young ladies coming into the studio and they are going to get their hair and makeup done and we are gonna have lots of fun, oh and I will be taking some pictures tomorrow too, but really most of the time we will just be having fun.  Bob and Kyle are busy working on a new prop for me.  (let’s hope they get it done and there are no fire calls for Hamlet or Koontz Lake in the next few hours)

I know I have’t posted much lately, that will change, should have lots of images to post after tomorrow. The last few days consisted of one entire day cleaning my house,  and one entire day playing Nintendo Wii. (yeah I am addicted to wii fit, if you follow me on facebook you already know that)

So I am now back to work, yesterday I spent most of the day planning and talking with some of my photographer friends about upcoming projects that I will be doing this year.  I am so excited about the new year.  I have goals written down in writing and I will make them happen!!!  If not I think Nichole may end up sending me non-stop facebook messages until I get back on track (at least that is what I would do to me if I was her- hint hint).

A couple weeks ago Gabi was over working on a school project and took some pictures of Samantha in the studio.  I of course had to snap some too.  My kids take instructions better from others so Gabi told her how to pose and I snapped away.   My baby girl is getting so big.  Sometimes she reminds me so much of me when I was her age.  (she talks too much and is loud like I was like I am)Anyways here is a shot of Samantha my little cowgirl.  (her front teeth are still coming in, the joys of being 6 1/2)

This session was unique.  (thought I was gonna say fun didn’t you.)  I think unique describes it the best.  There was a whole gang at this photo shoot.  For some people that wouldn’t be good but Stef and Shandell did great.  I wish I would have turned the video feature of my camera on while Sarah left the shoot.  I can’t get her voice out of my head.  She was yelling, “Run little deer!”  I am sure the hunter in the nearby woods didn’t think it was very funny.

Thanks all for the super crazy evening!!!  It’s too bad I was soo tired and Sarah had to get back to Chicago or I could have beatin’ you all at Wii!
