Preston ROCKS!  He was fun to photograph.  He had me cracking up the entire time.  He would pose “normal” and then next thing I knew he would be climbing the tree or doing something like the above shot.

Preston, I have been thinking about today while I edit your pictures.  I hope the rain didn’t ruin your tennis sectionals.

I can’t believe Nolan is one already.  He has been coming to me for pictures since he was 3 months old.  It has been fun watching him grow up.  He is such a joy to be around.  I made something special for his mom, but she has to wait another day until I post the rest of his pictures in the storefront.

I LOVE this shot…. (I could shoot stuff like this all day long)ChrisSept09_61LA-copy

Which of these next two do you like best.  I like one better and Bob likes another better.  I am not gonna say which I like best because I don’t want to sway your thinking.  Leave me some feedback in the comment section if you have time, I would appreciate it.  ChrisSept09_65LA-copy

We took LOTS of golf pictures Sunday night.  Chris has been golfing since he was about five, so I went overboard with golf shots.  I had a blast with Chris and his mom.  We went to the Chesapeak Run Golf Course in North Judson.  (btw a big thanks to a certain girlfriend of mine that works there)

Anyways, back to the fun… yeah we had a blast and the day was perfect.  I don’t like golf but I felt like just hanging out at the course.  Chesapeake Run is such a beautiful place, we are lucky to have it so close to home.

Big thanks to Chris for doing such a good job.  He wrote on my facebook that he had a good time, which makes me feel good.  Of course my main focus is to get great photos but I want to create memories for the senior and their parents.  I know they both will never forget the time we had and that makes me smile!  :)

I shot Callie’s sister’s pictures a couple years ago and am so glad they were happy with me and my work that they came back for more.  As you can see Callie did an amazing job.  She should be a hair model,  you know the pictures of all the different hair cuts that you see in the magazines at the hair salons.

Thanks Callie and April for the wonderful evening!!!!  Spread the word to everyone in South Bend.

Katie, I think you are probably going to be listed in the yearbook as the craziest, most fun girl at Brownsburg HS.  You crack me up!!!  Oh and you totally owe me big time because I could have posted one of your crazy faces, but I was nice and didn’t.

Nolan is one of those kids that you know will do something great with their life.  He is so darn smart.  He claims that it is better to be a computer nerd then computer geek.  I don’t know, I for some reason  like being referred to as computer geek better.  For those of you that don’t know I have a computer programing degree and pretty much have spent most of  my college and adult life on the computer so I am total computer geek.

Nolan- good luck with your senior year.  I expect great things from you and when you land that book deal don’t forget about me, I better be taking your headshots, got it!

One more thing… he is the uncle to one of my favorite little girls to photograph..  Harper!

I shot Megan’s session on Monday (aka Samantha’s first day of school) so I was let’s just say alittle tired from getting up at 5:30 am.  So my butt was dragging and I wasn’t my usual funny, peppy self.  No problem… I had back up.  His name is Paul (Megan’s dad).  He was not only craking Megan up, but me too.   He came along to take care of the dogs.  Which was like taking care of two three year olds, so it was pretty funny.  They dragged him all over, then he took them for a drive, then he went with us to get our field shot and we were waiting for the sun to stop blinding and I caught him making funny faces at Megan to get her to smile.  Let’s just say he won the dad of the year award!  Thanks Paul, you made my evening great and I am sure your daughter will always remember her senior pictures and how supportive her parents were.

My favorite of the day…a-aug2009_16bw-copy

I think it is so cool how the girls at NJ make senior jeans.  Arielle’s are super duper cool.

Arielle’s boyfriend Jeff is such a sweetie.   I am glad he came along.  Plus he did an awesome job at holding the reflector for me.  (Thanks Jeff!!)

Here she is with her lil sis and her mommy!a-aug2009_73bw-copy

Arielle is a fun girl.  She is ALOT like her aunt Angie.  She even does the rolling eye thing just like Angie does.  (I should have got a picture of it so we have proof to show her she does it the same way, someone needs to video tape it)

Arielle and her boyfriend helped out at her aunt Angie’s Family Session (remember the family with the 4 girls).   We had lots of fun, but it was also super crazy.  Glad Arielle’s senior session was alittle calmer.  Of course we still had crazieness, that is what happens when someone brings a dog and balloons to a photo shoot.  LOL

BTW thanks for leaving the balloons, the kids LOVED them.  That was really nice of you guys.

I love it when seniors bring someone special, here is Kelsey’s sister.  k-july2009_02

Kelsey is my kind of gal.  I can tell she does her own thing and doesn’t follow the crowd.  (that is totally how I am) We had a good time at her session however, it wasn’t fun that every other minute we had a gust of wind and she had to refix her hair.  That darn wind just wouldn’t stop for us!  Oh well, we got some awesome pictures despite the wind.  Thanks Kelsey for being such an awesome gal!!!  I hope you have a great senior year.  And tell the other Kelsey I said hi.
