Indiana Wedding Photography: Craig and Rachel Northwest, Indiana
Thursday, July 1st, 2010Warning, lots of photos from Craig and Rachel’s wedding. First one of my faves. Rachel had marked on my checklist that a special piece of jewlery she had was a ring that her grandmother had given her. Well I got lucky and caught this special moment with her and her mom where the ring just happened to be showing. I so got lucky, if I was smart I would have posed for a shot like this.
My view of Rachel and her dad….
Bob’s view (I love this shot, super creative) These were taken at the same time. I am positioned right in front of the guy to the right of the photo, just out of the frame.
Another shot that Bob took…
Here is Rachel with her girlfriends that she went to Saint Mary’s with. They flew in from all over, California and Florida.
After the wedding we went to Rachel’s mom and dad’s home and her dad has a really nice garden. I thought it was fitting to put the rings on a flower in the garden.
Oh and look at these cute gals. They fed me some good food before we headed to the reception so I had to share a photo of them.
On our way to the reception we stopped at Deep River Park and it was beautiful. I have never been their before.
Here is one of my favorite of all time wedding photos. Note to other photographers: no I didn’t add the sun flare, the sun just happened to be in the perfect spot.
The super cute and smart flower girl Sadie.
The reception was at Avalon Manor in Merrillville, IN. It is such a pretty place.
One of my favorite moments was when the Saint Mary’s group got together for a picture and left this sweet lady in charge of all the cameras…
Is that 5 cameras she is workin?
I have to say big thanks to Rachel, Craig and their families for making Bob and I feel so welcome. The wedding ceremony was early so all stopped at Rachel’s mom and dad’s house and took a little break and relaxed and it was so nice to visit with everyone. Her mom and dad have a wonderful garden. I am jealous but also know I couldn’t handle the hard work involved in maintaing something that large.
